Anti-fireworks campaign intensifies before Eid

With Eid approaching, Dubai Police are intensifying a crackdown on the sale of fireworks.

The UAE banned the personal use of fireworks after many cases where children sustained horrific burns from using them. Playing with fireworks was a popular sport amongst the youth during the holy month of Ramadhan and Eid holidays.
