Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum opened today at La Mer, jumeirah the second Smart Police Station (SPS) in Dubai. Dubai’s first SPS was opened last September at City Walk. Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri and his team briefed Sheikh Hamdan on the fully automated operations and services offered by the station. Major-General Al Merri said The smart station will operate 14/7 and offer 27 key services, including reporting of crimes, traffic incidents and community services. It will also provide 33 fully automated sub-services.
