Dubai Police harvest knowledge to improve policing work

Under the patronage of His Excellency Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, the General Department of administrative affairs, in coordination with the training department, concluded its fifth knowledge-sharing forum the ‘Harvesting Knowledge Forum 2019’.

During the closing ceremony, H.E Al Marri thanked participants and organisers, emphasizing that Dubai Police aim to spread the culture of knowledge across all sectors. Such a notion has become both a scientific and practical reality through the implementation of best practices.

The forum represents the perfect opportunity for participants to discuss, exchange views, and learn from distinguished experiences, and to ultimately further develop knowledge through this exchange.

The forum, which took place at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, tackled the role of the policing system, which avails of a rich knowledge base to empower appropriate decision-making. It also highlighted the standards and specifications that regulate police work, as well as adequate training and learning programmes.
